Kansas State Scholarship Programs

Legacy: One parent must have graduated from K-State. Awarded to graduating seniors with a minimum 3.0 high school GPA. Eligible students receive $7,000 (reducing tuition to approximately 150% of in-state tuition), renewable for up to 3 years with a minimum 3.0 K-State GPA. Available only to out-of-state students.

Honors: Awarded to graduating seniors with a minimum of 3.5 high school GPA and 24 ACT (1090 SAT). Eligible students receive $7,000 per year (reducing tuition to approximately 150% of in-state tuition) , renewable for up to 3 years with a 3.5 K-State GPA. Available only to out-of-state students.

Denison: Awarded to graduating seniors with a minimum 3.5 high school GPA and an ACT score of 20-23 (940 SAT). Eligible students receive $5,000 per year, renewable for up to 3 years with a 3.5 GPA at K-State. Available only to out-of-state students.

Transfer Legacy: One parent must have graduated from K-State. Awarded to transfer students with a minimum 3.6 transfer GPA. Eligible students receive $7,000 (reducing tuition to approximately 150% of in-state tuition), renewable for up to 2 years with a 3.0 K-State GPA. Available only to out-of-state students.

Transfer Honors: Awarded to transfer students with a minimum 3.6 transfer GPA on 24 or more credit hours. Eligible students receive $7,000 (reducing tuition to approximately 150% of instate tuition) renewable for up to 2 years with a 3.6 K-State GPA. Available only to outof-state students.

Missouri Reciprocal: Awarded to students who are eligible to pay resident tuition at the University of Missouri and are enrolled in one of the eligible curriculums. Qualified students will be charged the rate paid by Kansas residents. Students are selected on the basis of academic merit. Eligible curriculums include:

Midwest Student Exchange Program: Must be resident of Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, or Wisconsin. Awarded to students with a minimum 3.5 high school GPA and 24 ACT (1090 SAT), and enrolled in one of the qualifying curriculums Eligible students pay 150% of instate tuition , and must maintain a 3.0 GPA at K-State each semester for award renewal. Eligible curriculums include:

International Baccalaureate: If you complete an International Baccalaureate diploma upon graduation you may be eligible for an additional $1 ,000 scholarship award. Provide diploma documentation to Student Financial Assistance at finaid@k-state.edu
